Hello All,

I realize I haven't been around in ages. I apologize. This account is pretty much dead. I apologize, especially to the people who I was friends with here years ago. I am very bad at keeping in touch with people. I in no way meant to sever friendships. If anyone wants to come say hi, I am LadyKuro over on Tumblr, Link here. Just a few quick updates about me. This might be the last I do. I work for the National Park Service now, and I am employed by them full time year round (which is something I had to work my way up to, especially for someone with a degree in English and not something STEM related). I am still writing. I'm actually almost finished with a novel; I'm hoping to finish later this year. (It's not Raging Water, but a prequel. Ask if you'd like details ). I have a new cat, Evy. Squeaky, my first baby, died in '13. He was an old boy. Evy is a turd but I love her.

Anyway, I hope everyone is well. I'll check back here eventually.

Okay, so I'm sure you all have noticed my conspicuous absence..not.  So yeah, I haven't been on a lot this semester.  I really blame it on what happened in October, aka my computer getting stolen.  Getting a boyfriend might have had something to do with my AWOL status as well.  But yeah, I'm back for the moment, and shoveling my way through the piles of stuff in  my inbox.  In other news, I've finished Raging Water and will be taking it off the internet very shortly.  If you wish to read the rewrite, please contact me.  I started on the rest of WiBB, but the my computer was stolen, so nothing new for that at the moment.  In other news, I have a new novel, courtesy of an annoying muse.  >.> Just came to me one night.  Still haven't named it.  I was thinking of finishing it before working on the other things.  We'll see what happens, though.  I've uploaded a short story.  It's probably not what you're used to seeing from me.  I'd like a reaction on it, if you wouldn't mind.  Hm, other than that, I hope you all had a good Christmas, and are having a great New Year.  See you all around!

Oh!  The next kiriban is a BIG one, and it's really close!  It will be held at 10,000 pageviews.  The winner will get a short story, a colored drawing or photomanip, and one other art piece of their choice, plus, mention in my journal for a while to come (a month, perhaps more).  So yeah, please be on the look out for that?

If you want me to comment on ANYTHING you've written before April 2, 2008, you need to let me know.  I'll keep a little list of things I've promised to comment on here.  In fact I'll also keep a list of things I've promised in depth commenting on.  This includes any running promises I have, and I know that I have several.  Those that I promise to critiques and in depth critiques for probably need to expect a little bit of a wait (haha, poor Windwitch had to wait almost a year for one) I am getting better, though.  And once I get things back down to a managable level, I'll go back to commenting on everything.  I will read/look at all your work, I just might not comment, okay?
