A Journal at last!

Journal Entry: Wed May 21, 2008, 11:22 PM
  • Mood: Tense
  • Listening to: The various fans going
  • Reading: My Own Mind (pretty empty)
So yeah, the Kiriban has come and gone and the only person who got it was Havoc on the 6,666 one. Sorry to anyone else who might have wanted it. Well, alright, I'm generous. The first two people two say that they want a kiriban prize too can also have one (at least that way I know people are reading this). For those of you who don't know, the kiriban was a chance at evil, with the 666 theme. So, you can ask me to do something with your favorite villian, preferably a poem or drawing.

In other news, the school year finished a while ago, and I've been home for about two weeks. Been hanging out with Martha a LOT. Heh, the two of us shouldn't be allowed out in public together. But we are. It makes for some very interesting times :D

I have been working on Raging Water a little, but a lot of it has been for the upcoming rewrite. I'm kind of waiting on my laptop to get here to do the epilogue (it was in the shop). So yeah, that will appear eventually.

WIBB will be continued after the completetion of the first Raging Water novel.

I stole this meme from someone..wolfy I think. And some of the answers were just too hillarious for me not to put it up. So, yeah, here you are!

Name Meme

1. WITNESS PROTECTION NAME: (mother & father's middle name)
Ellen Farnham (went with my mom's orriginal first name since her current one is the same as mine is already)

2. NASCAR NAME: (first name of your mother's dad, father's dad)
William Wellington (Yes, Wellington. He didn't have a middle name either. Also, if you went by their nicknames I'd be Bill Bud.)

3. STAR WARS NAME: (the first 3 letters of your last name, first 2 letters of your first name)
Stike (Heh, that's actually pretty cool)

4. DETECTIVE NAME: (favorite color, favorite animal)
Blue Cat (>.> Mmm, not the greatest name in the world)

5. SOAP OPERA NAME: (middle name, city where you were born)
Cathleen Front Royal (>.> It would sound better with the name of the Hospital/county: Warren)

6. SUPERHERO NAME: (2nd fav color, fav drink, add "THE" to the beginning)
The Green Water (*snorts* Sounds like we might have a polution problem...)

7. FLY NAME: (first 2 letters of 1st name, last 2 letters of your last name)
Kees

8. GANGSTA NAME: (fav ice cream flavor, fav cookie)
Vanilla Sugar (:giggle: That sounds like a rapper name XD)

9. ROCK STAR NAME: (current pets name, current street name)
Squeaky Parkview Estates (O.o That's..just odd)

10. STRIPPER NAME: (name of your fav perfume/cologne, fav candy)
Moonlight Path Skittles (Heh, that's kind of funny...)

11. PORN NAME: (1st pet, street you grew up on)
Squeaky Samuel (O.o That's messed up. Especially considering I'm a girl!)

Oh! The next kiriban is a BIG one! It will be held at 10,000 pageviews. The winner will get a short story, a colored drawing or photomanip, and one other art piece of their choice, plus, mention in my journal for a while to come (a month, perhaps more). So yeah, please be on the look out for that?

Notice:
If you want me to comment on ANYTHING you've written before April 2, 2008, you need to let me know. I'll keep a little list of things I've promised to comment on here. In fact I'll also keep a list of things I've promised in depth commenting on. This includes any running promises I have, and I know that I have several. Those that I promise to critiques and in depth critiques for probably need to expect a little bit of a wait (haha, poor Windwitch had to wait almost a year for one) I am getting better, though. And once I get things back down to a managable level, I'll go back to commenting on everything. I will read/look at all your work, I just might not comment, okay?

It seems that I missed the March update. Not that you all care much, I'm sure. Just means one less journal for you to read :p

So um, news. Well, besides college trying to eat my life (and being rather sucessful in that), there isn't much for me to report. >.> I have some new poetry that might go up someday, but not right now as now I am trying to catch up on all of the RPs I am behind in and have a life outside of the internet. What?! Life outside the internet DOES exist, I swear!

Hehe, anyways.
In writing news, I've been doing a little poetry here and there, but nothing that's going to make it up here on dA..mostly. This does mean, thought that I haven't really written any prose since the last journal. Please don't hurt me for that^^; I'll finish the epilogue of RW one of these days, I swear.

WIBB will be continued after the completetion of the first Raging Water novel.

Kiriban is almost here!
With the next kiriban, you have three chances to win, and really, three chances at evil! What on earth am I talking about? How can a kiriban be evil? Well, its evil when the number of the anti-christ is my chosen number for the kiriban. And accordingly, you can ask me to do something with your favorite villian, preferably a poem or drawing. How is it that you're going to have three chances to win, though? Simple, I offer a kiriban for a screen shot of 6,606, 6,660, and 6,666. So yeah, that's your goal, folks.

Please ignore the last "journal". This is the real thing. Thanks.

Well, its about time I did another one of these things. This one is yoinked from :iconartheeria: .

Here's what we do. Pick one of your original characters. THEN leave a list of fictional or original characters in your journal that YOUR character would love to get a message from. It is your friend-list's mission, to write you an in-character "letter" from a character on that list. They can chose anyone on the list, even if it has been done already, as long as they do it IN CHARACTER. Then they post their own list in their journal and the process continues!

If original characters are listed, those are limited to the specific owners. If those owners do not wish to participate or would rather write a letter as another listed character then go ahead, no worries, this is just fun!

A sample list of characters from whom my characters would like to hear (though not limited to!):
Kairo, Skye, Javon, Talia, Maze, Irkanesh, Camillia, Éamon, Noone, Sybil, Zaine, Dyne, and Kaya

So yeah, if you'd like a letter from one of my characters, just answer this journal with a letter.

Other than that...
Yes, yes, I am STILL working on that last chapter of Raging Water. Expect it..some time this year. Well, before summer. Hopefully. I've written more of it, really, I have. I probably only have like a page or two left to write.

WIBB will be continued after the completetion of the first Raging Water novel.

It's still one of the 12 Days of Christmas

Journal Entry: Fri Dec 28, 2007, 9:31 AM
  • Mood: Tired
  • Listening to: Reach by Nightwish
  • Reading: The Miracles of Santo Fico
Merry Christmas everyone! >.> Um, yeah, I'm currently in a motel in New Jersey without scanner or printer so those of you to whom I promised Christmas gifts are going to be waiting a little longer. Sorry, I'll get them up as fast as I can, promise! If I forgot to ask you, then would you like something small for Christmas?

In other news, I'd appreciate prayers for my family. Something fishy is going on at my grandmother's house. All of the outlaws (what we call the inlaws) have fallen ill! I mean seriously, every single one, one night after the other. There's also the chair of death next to Grandpa where they've all been sitting. So yeah, prayer anyone? Thanks.

Right..what's next? Hm..maybe I'll babble about my writing for a bit. Yeah, that sounds good.

So, writing. I'm exactly where I left you all last time, RIGHT? WRONG! I've not only recovered my missing notebook since then, but I've also had a major revalation about my world. What is this revalation and how might it affect current/future stories? Well, I can't really tell you straight out, that would ruin it for those that like to be suprised. For those who want spoilers, though, I am willing to talk^^

WIBB will be continued after the completetion of the first Raging Water novel.

My Revenge!

Journal Entry: Mon Dec 17, 2007, 2:39 PM
  • Mood: Tired
  • Listening to: Last of the Wilds by Nightwish
  • Reading: Rebel Angels
Okay, so you know all those mems that people are making/passing around? Well I'm tired of them. And you know what happens when I get tired of something like that? I get revenge! So here, for the first time, is a mem for all of you! Mwahahahaha!!!

1. Who's the dark side dating?
2. Will garden gnomes eat those green eggs and ham?
3. Can Ronald McDonald be a bad influence?
4. Do you think Ace Ventura is a virgin?
5. What musical instrument would Godzilla most likely play?
6. What if you found out that your dad was secretly an alien plotting to take over the world together with Weird Al Yankovic?
7. If Superman and Old Greg were locked in the same (really small) room for longer than a day, what would most likely happen?
8. Would you open a mystery gift God just gave you, without much hesitation?
9. What would you do if garden gnomes and Johnny Depp were going out?
10. Gollum is secretly a garden gnome, you know.

Well, now that I have scared you all for life, I shall reveal my evil plans to you.

Writing:
T.T I am trying. Finals are killing me, though. That and I've lost a notebook. The good news is that I know where it is and who has it. The bad news is that its some one I only know casually that lives across campus. So yeah, Lord only knows when I'll be getting that back...

When I get it back though, the first priority will be to finish Raging Water. Wait, did she just say FINISH?! Why, yes, she did. The first book, anyways. It shouldn't be too long, really. After I've finished that, though, it is coming down, because it really, REALLY needs to be rewritten. So, to recap: RAGING WATER IS ALMOST OVER. THE WHOLE THING IS GOING TO DISSAPEAR ONE MONTH AFTER THE EPILOGUE APPEARS!!!

WiBB is going to take a little longer than RW to finish, but that's because I have so much left to do. Don't worry too much, though. Once I have RW finished my attention will be free to work on that. And once I've finished that, I will be trying to rewrite RW.

Unfortuantely for you all, I am going to be trying to submit the rewritten RW for publishing, so it will not be up on dA. It will be availible for those of you who wish to read it, you'll just have to ask to see it.

Kiriban!
