Amazing symbology... if that's what it is. Do you sing or perform your songs? Cos I can totally tell it has a tune and everything. It sounds like 3 Doors Down or something, except more concrete and graphic :)

Yeah, there is much symbolism laced into this piece. I tend to be a quiet person when I'm with people I don't know/don't feel comfortable with. I REALLY don't want to be a wall flower while I'm here at college, however, and this is my vain attempt to remind myself that I need to go out on a limb a little and "step out."

And yes, I did sing this song while I was writing it. Most of my songs have a tune to them when I write them (either that or they develop one while I'm editing them), but anyway. I have to say, I've only sung a few of my songs for anyone, and they are generally small children who don't mind me singing a capella. Glad you like it, though^^

lol awesome. I'm learning guitar, so I'm starting to get an interest in really writing lyrics myself, but I know I have a lot to learn. Before I just knew bass, and you can't really sing to a bass song... but do you play guitar? It's great fun.

Hah, I wish I played guitar. No, I play.. >.> <.< *whispers* flute. Meh, I hate the ditzy sterio type attatched to it, but yeah, thats what I play. That and drums XD LOVE the percussion.

I was starting to learn guitar in my seventh grade music class, but then the boys screwed around one to many times, and we never really learned anything >.<

LOL me too! I learned in 6th, but I thought it was the crap of the world and went rebel on everyone. But now that I've decided to do it on my own, it's cool :)

My daddy plays flute! I've always loved the sound of flutes, especially in rock songs... it makes them a lot more surreal and stuff, you know? If I ever have a band, I'll have a flute or something in it :)
