Herot: Hall of the Danes by kuroinami Herot: Hall of the Danes by kuroinami
This is actually an extra credit assignment for AP English, but I thought you all would like to see it. On the left is Beowulf, hero and title character of the epic poem, Beowulf. On the right is the attacking monster, Grendel. That thing in his mouth is human flesh from the half eaten carcase between the two of them. The design on the door was taken from a Norse chest. The runes above the door read "Tyr (War god) don't protect (Because the protection rune was broken by Grendel's forced entry) mankind."

This is copy right to me, if any one wants to use it, PLEASE ask first!

Blood, guts, and monters, what more could you want? Really if you find a modern translation like the one I mentioned in an above answer its okay.

Weird old book, aye, unless you get the translated version. And old english, thats older than Shakespearian, and even harder to understand.

Nah, Beowulf's okay. As long as you read the modern translation you'll be fine.
